A coding competition based on
Data structures and algorithms. The contest will consist of 6
questions. There will be a leaderboard which is score-based(1
point for each correct submission - no partial points). There will
be a time penalty for each wrong submission. Thetop 3 teams are
declared winners.

Event Description:
Round1: Online Open Book MCQ based on Cybersecurity (20m)
Round 2: Hacking Competition (3hrs)
This is a
CTF(Capture the flag) style Cyber Security event. Theme of the
event is that a medical research lab had successfully found a cure
for cancer. But just before the formula was published, a doctor on
the research team stole the formula and disappeared after clearing
out all files on the research computer. The lab has hired the
participant to investigate the computer and recover the
formula.The participants have to uncover clues, keys and other
“flags” to uncover the puzzles one byone. Each puzzle is a
security puzzle which includes OSINT, password cracking, Brute
Forcing etc.
Participants will receive points for each puzzle
they crack. The participants do not need anyprior knowledge except
basic computer and browsing skills. They can ask for help anytime
but points will be calculated accordingly. The aim of this event
is to create an interest in the cyber security domain.

Pictionary- The participants
are split into teams of 2 and one person from each team draws and
the other team mate finds. The top 5 or 7 teams (yet to be
decided) qualify for the next round.
Round 3
Picture story telling- In this round, the participants play
individually and individual scores add up to team scores. The
scores are calculated based on various factors like cohesiveness,
coherence etc.A series of 5 random pictures are displayed.
Participants are required to co-relate the 5 images and say a fun,
quirky story.Note: This is not an elimination round.
Round 2
Crime Scene Solving- The
Participants are split into teams of 2. The host shows a picture
revolving around a crime scene. Clues are given. The teams are
required to solve the mystery. Top 3 teams qualify for the next
round
Round 4
Kahoot Trivia Quiz-
In this round, the participants play a quiz as a team and the
scores are calculated. The teamwith the highest score calculated
cumulatively in round 3 and round 4 wins.

A paper presentation event is a technical event that provides the
participants with a platform to showcase their research ideas in front
of an esteemed panel of judges/experienced academicians/researchers.

Shortlisting Criteria/Paper Evaluation:
The papers received from the participants will be evaluated
by the coordinators to check if they are in accordance with the
specified format of the paper
(IEEE standards). The papers will subsequently be checked for plagiarism by means
of plagiarism detectors available online. The papers which are not
plagiarized and in accordance with the specified format will then
be evaluated based on innovation scope and feasibility. The final
shortlist count will be based on the time allocated for the
event.
Description:
The interested
participants will be asked to submit their papers via email (to krijeshan17078@cse.ssn.edu.in)
The received papers would then be split accordingly among event
coordinators to validate them against the shortlisting criteria
specified above. The shortlisted participants will then be
contacted via email by the event head to confirm their selection.
They will then be asked to prepare a PPT presentation for their
research topic and submit the same two or three days prior to the
event to the event head via email. (Non-submission of PPT in time will also lead to
elimination) The shortlisted participants will then be shared GMeet links to
the event. During the GMeet call, they would be presenting the
prepared PPT before the audience(other shortlisted participants)
and the panel of judges(yet to be decided) in turns and will be on
call till the event concludes. The decision of the panel will
remain final and accordingly the winner will be declared.

U-X-I is a technical event where participants have to provide a
complete user experienceand UI design of the given problem
statement.

Event Description:
Calling all creative minds! Participants are asked to create
a unique user experience for the given product/software, i.e., create the user flow keeping the functionalities
in mind, how it will be feasible and finally create a stellar visual
design for the product/software.
Participants will be given 2.5 hours to design (Softwares to be used:
Adobe XD, Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop) and present their prototype
(Any prototyping tool can be used: eg: InVision, Adobe XD, Figma) during the judging round.
Participants will be judged based on usability of the product and creativity. Cash prizes
worth Rs.6000 are awarded to the top 3 candidates.
